Rui describes himself as a cognitive-behavioral facilitator, working both individually and as part of a team on aspects such as leadership, time management and productivity. He believes that “being commercial” is the most complete profession and that we all, in some way, play a “commercial” role. The first and most important sale is how we “sell” ourselves.
After a brief foray into studying Law, he graduated in Marketing Management (IPAM, Portugal). Since then, he has continued to invest in his technical and, above all, behavioral education. He likes to say that every day he attends the “university of life” and acknowledges that he has had to repeat some topics along the way.
Following a successful career trajectory within the Auto-Sueco Group, where he served as the after-sales marketing manager and bridged the gap between the Volvo Car Corporation in Sweden and the Volvo dealership network in Portugal (from the 90s until the early 21st century), Rui became CEO of the Civiparts Group when it was acquired and integrated into the Auto-Sueco universe. After deep reflection on the direction of his professional life, he decided to create his own consulting company and dedicates himself to working as a management consultant, excelling in areas such as:
– Strategic Management for SMEs;
– Business Plan Development and management Key Figures;
– Launch and support for startups;
– Generational transition in business management;
– Energizing commercial areas;
– Individual executive coaching;
– Corporate culture evolution.
In addition to consulting, Rui is an enthusiastic trainer in behavioral areas, where he feels he helps people to fully explore their human potential.
On a personal level, he has a family with three children, he’s passionate about motorsports and loves Radiohead and other music sounds.
